We are a family owned and operated stable and riding academy doing what we love; training, instructing, showing, and teaching others about the wonderful world of horses.
Patty Savage Wooters
In 1978 Patty Savage Wooters opened the doors to Longview Stables and Riding Academy in Eastern Aurora, Colorado. Patty is well known throughout the United States for having the ability to perfect both horse and rider and bring them together as one. Patty herself is a nationally accomplished rider who continues to put together nationally ranked teams who thrive at local, regional and world championship levels. Patty now runs the day-to-day operations at Longview Stables.
Kayla Wooters-Klaas
Kayla is the head trainer at Longview and takes pride in working show horses along with their riders and is the Chapter Chair for the United Professional Horseman’s Association. Kayla is a World Champion rider and is known as one if the best catch riders in the saddlebred industry. Kayla thrives on training young horses and getting them to the show ring at regional and national competitions.
Allyson Foust
Ally is the assistant trainer to Kayla. Ally has been riding at Longview stables for 15 years. She has shown in several divisions at the state, local and world championship levels. Ally is also the head of the Academy Team.
Nancy Foust
Nancy has over 30 years’ experience riding and teaching lessons. Riding and showing in all divisions on the west coast from 1996-2000. Re locating from San Diego to Denver in 2003, Nancy has called Longview Stables ‘home’ since 2005.
